Pioneer Athletics offers opportunities to participate in recreational, developmental and competitive athletics.

 

Boys (6th - 12th grade) participate in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

Girls (6th - 12th grade) participate in Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball.

 

Crescent City Christian School is a member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA), and enjoys competitive sports with all other members of the Association. In order to be eligible for these sports, each student must meet the requirements set forth by LHSAA, and meet and maintain all academic and behavioral eligibility requirements set forth by the CCCS Administration.

/  Clubs and Organizations

Student Council

Student participation in school government is based on the idea that there must be opportunity for the fullest development of the individual so that he/she may render the greatest service to the group. The Student Council is the legislative and executive authority of the students in all of their affairs and represents their views to the faculty and to the administration. The understanding, ability and poise gained through participation in these affairs will enable these same students to take an active and intelligent part in the civic affairs of their community, state and nation.

Key Club

The Key Club is an organization dedicated to constructive service in support of the civic affairs of the school. It is sponsored by Kiwanis International. The motto of the Key Club is “We Build.”​

Class Officers

Class Officers - Each class (grades 7-12) elects a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and class representative each year. Each candidate must meet the following standards.

  • The previous year average in each major subject must be at least 80.

  • The conduct grade must be at least B

  • Each candidate must present a letter of recommendation from two of his/her teachers. This is to be given to the Student Council Sponsor.

  • All candidates must be approved by the Administration.

Cheerleaders

Work together to promote school spirit among the student body.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is an organization whose purpose is to “create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character.” Membership is based on Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Character. Candidates shall have spent at least one semester in Crescent City Christian School, and shall be members of the Junior or Senior Class who have a scholarship cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Street Reach

Street Reach does many activities to serve the needs, both spiritual and physical, of the people in the New Orleans area.

/  Fine Arts

Choir

Choir is a great opportunity for students to showcase their singing ability as well as learn the strategies that are required for choral singing.
 

Encore

Our Encore team lets students participate in any and all manner of theatre including: dancing, acting, and drama.

Music

Our music classes gives students the opportunity to learn and grow musically with a wide number of instruments.

/  Spirituality

Chapel

Our chapel is every Thursday (for Elementary students) and Friday (for Secondary students). We have musical worship from our praise team and sermons from teachers or youth pastors. To visit our chapel page, click here.

Bible Classes

Our Bible classes are a core part of the curriculum, allowing our students to learn more about God in a classroom setting.

Spiritual Emphasis Week

Spiritual Emphasis Week is a way for the student body to start the schoolyear off in the right way: with a renewed spirit.
